Thank you for taking the time to visit our five-star retreat. This is a lovely picture of our very first wedding here at Peaceful Hills Retreat in the fall of 2022. This bride and her Marine reserved the entire 97 acres for October 18th and enjoyed the onsite lodging at the cottage and lodge. You will find the same beauty she found that will take your breath away, which makes this the perfect place to celebrate your wedding day and to make that covenant promise to the one you hold dear.

Delicious Catered Meals
Our preferred catering service is ready to serve your favorite dishes. After many years of Kinfolk Catering serving food at events for our favorite charity, A Soldier’s Child Foundation, we trust them to deliver outstanding service and taste when it matters most. The rehearsal dinner and reception will be a beautiful and delicious feast for your guests to enjoy. When experiencing Peaceful Hills Retreat the rest of the world seemingly disappears. Outside catering is optional upon request.

The Waterfall Venue
The Waterfall Venue is such a romantic spot! The temperature is a few degrees lower because of the cool spring water which flows past on the right. It has plenty of room for guests to watch your special ceremony. It is mostly shaded, making it great for cooling guests down in the summer months.
Flowers, candles, and petals will make any bride feel like she is a beautiful princess in a storybook as she takes those steps up the path to marry her best friend and begin a life of togetherness with him. Dreams can come true.

The Tree Venue
The Tree Venue has a great view overlooking the valley and is also surrounded by trees. Walking past the lodge, your guests will enjoy the spectacular view overlooking the valley and pond. Standing on the hillside in this secluded spot away from the rest of the world, you will be making that beautiful commitment to serve each other with love and faithfulness.

The Pond Venue
This area is grassy and surrounded by beauty on all sides. The view from this area is lovely because the sunsets just behind those trees, which is the direction the guests will be facing. The temperatures are slightly warmer here than in the Waterfall Venue. This location is a short walk to both homes. The bride will ride in on an electric cart to walk down the aisle. The chairs could be facing towards the pond or towards the Lodge. Your choice of background is what makes this the perfect place to create your dream wedding!

Your wedding set up will be much easier when you choose to use our tables and chairs already on site. We help set up the chairs for the ceremony site and tables for the reception, but leave the decorating up to your crew.
