Entering the home, you will see the high-ceiling living room with the fireplace and spiral staircase. The first floor has three bedrooms. Queen Bridal Suite with full bath, the Queen Music Room, and The Bunk Room. The loft has four single beds and a great view. Fully stocked kitchen and a washer and dryer available

Cabin, Host's Home
Only 14.6 miles from I-40, this 2,497-square-foot cabin is in a beautiful place surrounded by nature. Deer, which often frequent the front yard to graze, are among the turkey and other wildlife you can find here. This hidden gem in the rolling hills of Tennessee is where you'll find some peaceful days! This cabin is also where the host currently resides.
Cottage
The cottage has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, a living room with a piano, books, a family room, games, TV. It has a laundry room, three covered porches, and a hammock. The cottage is up on a hill, but you can still catch a glimpse of the creek from the porch. It is beautiful!
Deep In The Forest Campground
Forest Campsites
Our forest campsites are off the beaten path. Follow the gravel road to get to the campground where sites vary from high on top of the hill with a grand view to secluded, tucked away, and very private. Fire pits are at every campsite. Firewood bundles and fresh farm eggs are for sale, and hammock and cart rentals are available. Please book rentals in advance.
Campsites #1 and #31 are located near the creek. Campsites #2-20 are in the forest. They are spread out, private and secluded. These campsites are very unique and each one has a different design and layout. Campsites #21-30 are highest up on a ridge and cell phones will receive a signal from these highest campsites. It is a beautiful view from the top!
This campground will provide a place to get away from the world! Campsite #1 is the only site with electrical hookups. Portable restrooms, which are clean and well maintained, are located throughout. Firewood bags are recycled and reused. If you enjoy being in nature, hearing birds sing, and gazing at the billions of twinkling stars, then look no further!
About Our Campsites
The gravel road through the campground often has deer tracks and turkey prints. No bears have been sighted here yet. We have bobcats, coyotes, armadillos, groundhogs, bunny rabbits, hawks, owls, turkeys, and deer. Fireflies in the summer months will make you feel surrounded by angels with their twinkling glow. If you sit still for a while, the birds will begin to sing their most beautiful solos for you, and the squirrels will dance around you from branch to branch, so book a campsite today.
Directions to Our Retreat
PEACEFUL HILLS RETREAT: Your GPS might take you on four miles of dirt roads. Here are the directions to avoid miles of dirt roads.
To make directions very easy, add into your GPS Chessor Cemetery Road. There are two other routes in, but they are both dirt roads. We highly recommend Chessor Cemetery Road for the fastest way to Peaceful Hills Retreat. From there stay straight on Chessor Cemetery Rd., pass the road on the right marked Hurricane Br., keep going pass the cemetery, until you reach the bottom of a big hill. Then turn left onto Hurricane Branch. Stay straight for 0.3 miles and go over concrete bridge. Then turn left onto American Way, which is the lane into Peaceful Hills Retreat.
There are no grocery stores, restaurants, or gas stations on exit 148. We recommend stopping for food and gas before you get close to exit 148. Grocery stores are 17 miles from here if you head towards Centerville, and it takes around 30 minutes to get there. We want to make sure you're aware of that before you arrive. Safe Travels!
